What is the value of art?
To me, the value of art you cannot really put a prize on. I think
that the value of art is established by the people who are viewing the art.
One pice of art may absoutl move somebody and could be worth the world. But
to the next person that same piece of art could mean absolutely nothing, and to
them it could be worth no more than the dust in their pocket. I feel like true
value of an artwork will increase when the artist is dead. The death of an
artist really increases more in money value and in personal value. Because upon
the death of the artist, no more work of theirs will be created therefore the value
will go up significantly.
